A blend of two uniquely Bulgarian grapes, Rubin and Mavrud, and two grapes which are universally known, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This complex and well-balanced wine will appeal to real connoisseurs, to people who like full-bodied and spicy wines, and to those who like fruity and fresh wines. It has a little bit of everything in complex, multi-faceted layers of tastes and aromas. With notes of black cherry, freshly made jam, roast pumpkin, elderberries, and cinnamon on the nose; the palate detects a delicate drop of musk, leather, and noble oak from the aging process. It can be served with a wide variety of meats and steak-like fish (think grilled salmon or tuna) as well as with full-flavored cheeses.
