For the Isperih brand plums Rakia, only the intensely fragrant, ripe Stanley plums are harvested in the Danube region. Plums of the Chachanska lepotitsa variety complement the fruity aroma. After distilling, the fruit brandy is allowed to mature in oak barrels with a small capacity for three years, so that the elegant, floral nuances of the plums are accompanied by some elegant vanilla and a slightly spicy finish.
